Use Your iPad as a Creativity Tool

Your iPad is more than a passive tool to watch movies, play games and read email. It can be used to create paintings, drawings, animation, and sculpture.

At Gallery Saratoga we are offering classes to teach the skills you’ll need to use your iPad as a painting canvas. Even if you have never painted before, you can create. For those with years of painting skill, your iPad can be a way to explore new ways of creating and sharing your art.

Painting with an iPadThis class is designed for those with some experience painting in a single medium and those who would like to learn to use their iPad as a creativity tool . Students will learn how to use the iPad on their own painting project. Some art training is recommended because the instructor will be using art terminology such as: value, composition, hue, etc. Two sessions available:

5 morning 1.5 hour lessons, Tuesday 10:30AM-Noon: 10/14. 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/18 (NO class 11/11) – $115

5 evening 1.5 hour lessons, Thursday 7:00PM-8:30PM: 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/13, 11/20 (NO class 11/6) – $115

Required Equipment : Apple iPad with current iOS, Procreate app, Brushes app, stylus
