We are husband and wife photographers that focus on Landscape and Studio Still Life photography.
35mm as well as medium format cameras are used to capture our images. All prints are individually handcrafted in our home “wet darkroom.”
Our landscape photographs capture the simple beauty of nature and timeless moments which often go unnoticed, We believe they convey a sense of peace and calmness. Our favorite studio subjects are flowers, which require time and patience to acquire the results we have envisioned. Camera position, placement and lighting all come in to play resulting in a bright luminous photograph.
Our inspiration comes from early 20th century photographers who dedicated their lives to the craft of photography. Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Paul Strand, just to name a few.
We strive to capture the genuine quality, essence, soul and beauty in each of our photographs. Focusing also on color, light, composition and feeling.
Our goal is to “enliven” the spirit of the viewer.
